Tai Tindall is a self-taught visual artist born and raised in Queens NY. She currently resides in Tulsa OK. Tai’s paintings are informed by an innate curiosity about human nature, spirituality and changes experienced throughout the life cycle. For the past decade she has practiced a balanced combination of rhythmic drip pour techniques and mixed media layering. The result is unique texture and dimension which often invoke a sense of immediacy and ease of access to the creative process. Of her artistic influences Tai says “I was moved to tears the first time I encountered a Jackson Pollock painting in person. That experience made me a believer in the power of authentic creative expression.” Tai has also spent several years working as a clinical social worker helping men and women in crisis.
